We are a small law office which specializes in all aspects of common interest community law, including condominiums, cooperatives, homeowner associations, commercial district associations, and master associations. Mr. Williams has been practicing in this area of law since 1980 and lectures statewide on community association law. He is co-author of the book Ohio Condominium Law, published by ThomsonWest in 2005.

We perform all legal tasks associated with this area of law including organizational documents for condominiums, cooperatives and homeowner associations, rules and regulations and bylaws governing these communities.

We represent a large number of condominium and homeowner associations in the central Ohio area, and frequently attend board and committee meetings to advise our clients regarding their various concerns and issues.

We strive to serve our clients in the most efficient manner possible, using the best technical and office equipment available. We endeavor to communicate fully with our clients on a timely basis, to keep current in the law of these practice areas, not only within the State of Ohio, but nationally as well. We are members of all bar associations in Ohio, and are members of the Community Associations Institute, a national education and advocacy organization concerned with all aspects of common interest communities. Mr. Williams is licensed to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States as well.

Charles T. Williams

Mr. Williams is a native of Columbus, Ohio, a veteran of the Vietnam war, and 1974 graduate of Boston College Law School. He is a member of the Ohio and Columbus Bar Associations and is admitted to practice in all Ohio courts, the Federal District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, and the Supreme Court of the United States. Mr. Williams focuses his practice in the areas of condominium and homeowners association law and real estate law, generally. Mr. Williams is a member of the College of Community Association Lawyers, past Chairman of the Real Property Law Committee of the Columbus Bar Association and past President of the Central Ohio Community Associations Institute. Mr. Williams is co-author of the book Ohio Condominium Law, published by ThomsonWest, 2007.

Robin L. Strohm

Ms. Strohm is a 2004 graduate of Capital University Law School and a 1985 graduate of Ohio State University. She is a member of the Ohio and Columbus Bar Associations and is admitted to practice in all Ohio courts and the Federal District Court for the Southern District of Ohio. Robin is currently a member of the Columbus Midtown Area Real Estate Association, a member of the Columbus Building Industry Association, and is past President of The Central Ohio Community Associations Institute. She is also a volunteer for the Columbus Literacy Council.

Amy M. Milam

Ms. Milam is a 2007 graduate of Capital University Law School and a 2004 graduate of Ohio University. She is a member of the Ohio and Columbus Bar Associations and is admitted to practice in all Ohio courts. She joined our firm in August, 2008, with a background in civil litigation.

Tammy Knightstep

Ms. Knightstep has been working for the firm as a legal assistant for 18 years, and is a skilled paralegal in the condominium and homeowner association field. She manages the office and handles the substantial work product flow of the office.

Staci R. Smith

Ms. Smith is a 2000 graduate of The Ohio State University with a BA in Sociology. In 2004 she obtained a Paralegal Certificate from Columbus State Community College. She has eight years of land title experience and worked as a title insurance agent for the past four years. She joined our firm in March, 2008, and assists in all aspects of the work of the office.
